Gold Istanbul 2010 has begun to sparkle.... ( Viewed by 1889 visitors.)
We are maintaining the preparations of the Gold Istanbul 2010 that has been planned with wide ranging and effective marketing and presentation concept, with great an excitement and enthusiasm, which will be organized at TUYAP Fair and Congress Center on 18-21 February 2010 in cooperation with “The Jewellery Association of Istanbul” (IKMD) and TUYAP.
We are observing with happiness that the presentation activities of the Gold Istanbul 2010 Exhibition is received by the representatives of the sector at home and abroad and by the media institutions with a great interest, where we have started with the preparations since last September. We are continuing to progress with great speed on the path that we have planned and developed from the first day onwards together with the support of individuals, institutions and establishments, which we are cooperating with.
We are envisaging from the onset that Gold Istanbul 2010, where we are running its both the marketing and the introduction activities with great excitement, will take its place as an brand, not only at home but at abroad as well. We have seen the enthusiasm, which has been created by the marketing activities that has been carried out so far, by signing participation agreements (exhibitor and co-exhibitor) with 239 leading companies of the sector, as the result of the work that we have focused on this issue. The number of companies that request to participate at the fair is increasing by the day and it is even continuing over our expectations.
We have determined the countries of UAE, USA, Germany, Russia, Iraq, Libya, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Israel, Italy, Belgium, Ukraine, Greece, Saudi Arabia, France, Republic of Czech and England as the target countries, where the sector place its priority, during fair presentation activities. We have speeded up our introduction activities by visiting the commerce and industrial chambers, representatives of the sector, the points that have become as the center of jewelry and goldsmith of these countries in an intense way with the support of our TUYAP offices and representatives that are located in abroad. Our introduction activities that are directed towards the target group are continuing through the data bank of TUYAP, which has accumulated with the experience and accretion that the years have brought by. In this sense, we are carrying out the electronic post communication, which has been sent to 30.000 individuals approximately that has been determined on the base of the sector on regular basis. We are continuing with the invitation sending activities for this target group as of December.
We have speeded our activities by carrying over the alternative activities on to our agenda that will create awareness and which is directed towards increasing the commercial recognition of the country and the sector, within the scope of the introduction activities that have been carried out abroad. We are continuing to strengthen our communication connection with the individuals and the institutions that direct the sector in the countries we have targeted. The fact that we have observed the expectation for the Gold Istanbul 2010 Exhibition with excitement at abroad in a level that is at least the same as the one in our country makes us happy in different way as a result of the activities that we have continued in this sense.
We have obtained very successful results from the presentation and advertisement activities that we have carried out through our cooperation with the periodicals abroad, which has been continuing for many years, in order to strengthen it more specifically for the Gold Istanbul 2010. We have carried out meetings with 40 periodicals approximately and materialized cooperation activities with large part of these as the result of all of these activities. We are continuing with our R&D activities in relation to diversifying the printed media that is to be used with an great speed and attention as we have not been content with these. The excitement that the Gold Istanbul 2010 creates is shown to increase the attention of the international press by every day. We are aiming for the publications mentioned above that we are in cooperation with and which is followed rather closely by the representatives of the sector abroad, to include the news about the exhibition throughout the year as well as the advertising and introduction activities. In order to achieve this, we are going to entertain the editors of these periodicals within the scope of an special program during the fair as TUYAP.
We are continuing with the same enthusiasm and excitement to carry out activities directed towards the sector around the country and as the 15 cities, where the retail points are the most focused, being the priority, in order to help to liven up also the market at home as much as the near geography and to contribute to the development of the facilities and the abilities of the sector also with the support of our TUYAP offices at home. We are searching for the support of the representatives of the Commerce and Industry Chambers and the Non Governmental Organizations of the Jewelry and Goldsmith Sector and the opinion leaders of the cities that we are aiming by visiting them and we have determined the application basis of the joint works that are directed towards the cooperation. We are aiming for the representatives of the sector to reach to their expectations at the Gold Istanbul 2010 by reaching to thousands of retail points at home.
We have been provided with exciting opinions and support by many media establishments that publish in the country and which reach to the representatives of the sector directly, during the period, when the Gold Istanbul 2010 was launched at home. We are continuing to achieve the introduction, advertising and news activities that are directed towards the newspapers, periodicals, television channels, radios and internet sites with the same excitement and enthusiasm in relation to these support and opinions. We are continuing with our activities for the home market with all of our determination and the experience in order to achieve success for both the branding of the fair and all of the results that are expected from the fair by using the reflections that appear from the support the media institutions provide in the development of the introduction activities.
Reaching of the Gold Istanbul 2010 to wide audience is one of our priority aims. For this reason, we are continuing to use outdoor means like, billboards, cladding of the buildings, posters at home and abroad also for our Gold Istanbul 2010 project in an effective way. We are expecting an intense feedback for the Gold Istanbul 2010 Exhibition, as it is the case for all of the projects that we have organized through the applications we have carried at regions, where the sector is active intensely and which covers the joint work areas.
As we have stated the details above, we have achieved a lot of activities both at home and abroad in intense way since the first day of the launching of the Gold Istanbul 2010. We believe that the Gold Istanbul 2010 Exhibition, which will take place at the TUYAP Exhibition and Congress Center on 18-21 February 2010, will contribute greatly to the economy of our country in general and to the sector specifically.
